One of the absolute best wedding gifts we got last year was to be able to go and stay at a friend’s beach house in Florence, Oregon. Since we weren’t able to take advantage of it last year… we went this year for our one year anniversary!

It was an amazing five days – lots of time to rest, sleep, relax, read, watch movies, go for walks, have a bonfire… We even got clear blue sunny skies on our last day there – a rarity on the Oregon Coast. (And yes, we went dune buggy riding on the massive sand dunes on our sunny day!)

It was a wonderful five days—just the two of us—and we even got to go out for a nice meal and celebrate our anniversary.
