Over much of Ryan’s ministry life he has served teenagers (and their families) and has directed a number of youth programs in Townsville (some of which are now being multiplied in other places in Australia and will soon be launched in other nations).
He also leads Discipleship Training Schools (DTSs), teaches young people on topics such as “Relationships” and the “Lordship of Christ,” speaks on reaching out to youth, and teaches on a variety of aspects of leadership.
Ryan is a pastor at heart with a call to minister within missions, and has a huge heart for people. Much of his time is spent listening, mentoring, coaching, and encouraging the staff he leads. Ryan also co-leads the Staff Leadership Internship with Adriel and carries an Eldership role within our ministry centre.
He was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and has been serving fulltime with YWAM since 2001.
Before joining YWAM, Ryan worked for nine years as a tradesman. He also served in the youth group of his local church.
